Professor Bergelson presented her paper “Sex and Sensibility at a workshop entitled “Sexual Assault and Rape” held Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19, 2021. January 14, 2008 Newark, NJ, January 15, 2008 Vera Bergelson, Professor of Law and Robert E. Knowlton Scholar at Rutgers School of Law-Newark, will deliver the 2008 David J. Stoffer Lecture on Tuesday, January 29, at 6 pm in the Baker Trial Courtroom. Her topic is Autonomy, Dignity, and Consent to Harm. Four Rutgers Law School Professors - Vera Bergelson, Katie Eyer, David Noll, and Ellen P. Goodman, have been awarded the Greg Lastowka Award for Scholarly Excellence. The Lastowka Award, started in 2016, is named in memory of Rutgers Law School Professor Greg Lastowka, an expert in cyber law, who died of cancer in 2015.
